FAITH RECONCILIATION
CHAPEL
This is the church arm
of THE FAITH BUILDERS
MINISTRIES. It also
serves as the home base
church of Chaplain Rev.
Festus A. Ekenyere where,
as a Pastor-Teacher
he takes care of the
flock of God.
Operating a Church like
this in a predominantly
muslim stronghold is
challenging and so far
the grace of the Almighty
God has sustained this
arm of the ministry
from since 1990.
We started in a living
room in 1990 when the
Lord directed that there
was need for a Church
base where missionaries
would be trained for
the Nomadic Ministry
(another arm of The
Faith Builders Ministries).
From that small living
room we made attempts
to build an auditorium
for the Lord on two
different locations
and occasions but we
were vigorously resisted
by the Islamic faithfulls.
We continued squatting
until 1997 when the
good Lord honoured our
determination and steadfastness
by miraculously providing
a parcel of land for
His own glory. We bought
the land and immediately
started the church building
in 1998. Today we have
a beautiful, befitting
auditorium where we
worship our God in the
very heart of the city.
To God is all the GLORY!
* FESTUS EKENYERE
NOMADIC MINISTRY
Have you ever thought
of what happens to an
average Nomad when he/she
dies? Have you ever
thought of how the Nomads
could be reached with
the gospel of our Lord
Jesus Christ? Have you
ever thought of the
way they move and live
their lives? Have you
ever imagined that you
could have been one
of them if you were
not born by your parents?
Hope you know that you
did not chose where
you were born or the
family you belong.
All these and more created
a heavy burden in the
Spirit of Chaplain Rev.
Festus A. Ekenyere in
1986 as he often watched
with tears the Fulani
Nomads of Northern Nigeria
move from one place
to the other. It was
this burden and in attempts
to answer the above
questions that gave
birth to the vision
of reaching out to them
in other to share the
love of Jesus. Finally
the Ministry was established
in 1987 as Festus Ekenyere
Nomadic Ministry.
The first step we took
then was to get ourselves
acquainted with the
Fulani culture. We acquired
books in Fulani language
including their Bible.
With the help of some
Fulani Christians like
Evangelist Mrs Dije
we were able to move
out to where they could
be found. We could minister
to them sometimes with
wordless tracts and
other materials. God
has been blessing our
efforts tremendously.
We have some of them,
today as Pastors reaching
out to their own people.
It is a difficult but
exciting ministry anyway.
They live in the bush
and are not stationary
at all so it is difficult
to do a proper followup.
Our problem is compounded
because we cannot afford
a 4-wheel drive vehicle
to do the rogued desert
run. We are still believing
God for one.
The Nomads do not have
the “good”
things of this life
yet they are very happy
people. They are lovely
and loving people especially
when you show them love
and concern at the first
contact. Otherwise,
you will discover that
they are very quick
tempered people to deal
with. above all, they
are souls created by
God and should not be
allowed to perish in
hell.
Somebody please do something
today for the souls
of the Nomads and God
will reward yo tremendously.
To effectively reach
them, we need a 4-wheel
drive jeep, vet drugs,
cloths, etc.
Scroll to our “HELP
THE NOMADS FORM”
and God will help you
also.

* LATTER DAY PUBLISHERS
As the
ministry of The Faith
Builders grew, we
discovered that there
is need for a department
to take care of all
our publications hence
the birth of Latter
Day Publishers.
This
department is managed
by a professional
printer whose duties
include the publication
of Chaplain Festus
books, tracts and
magazine. All the
ministries posters
and handbills are
produced here.
The
major constraint of
this department is
the lack of modern
printing machine.
We are trusting God
for the provision
of such equipments
since most of our
publications are distributed
free of charge.
God
can use you to assist
us today.
* LET’S PLEAD
FOR THE WIDOWS MINISTRY
Isa
1:17 "Learn
to do well; seek judgment,
relieve the oppressed,
judge the fatherless,
plead
for the widow."
“There
are widows and there
are widows indeed.”
A statement often
credited to Chaplain
Rev. Festus A. Ekenyere,
the General Overseer
of THE FAITH
BUILDERS MINISTRIES.
This observation is
the result of his
experiences over the
years in dealing with
widows in the remote
communities. Recently
he identified the
plight of seventeen
of such widows. Some
of them find it difficult
to acquire common
bathroom slippers.
These are the kind
of widows Pastor Festus
describes as “widows
indeed”. They
are found in the villages.
No body thinks about
them; they are not
educated so they do
not know anything
about litigation.
Some of them are victims
of cruel traditions
of the land. Some
are accused of killing
their husbands and
as such are sanctioned.
Who will PLEAD for
them?
Recently we discovered
that it does not take
much to keep some
of these widows happy
all through. We observed
that N20,000
or $155 US Dollars
monthly could
give these seventeen
widows sense of belonging.
We are equal to the
task! Our God is able!
It is interesting
to know that some
of these widows are
very fine Christians
who have learnt to
live by faith so they
so much appreciate
the Lord whenever
we render such helps
to them. They see
it as an answer to
their prayers and
it makes them to be
steadfast.
We have a form designed
for as many as want
to join us in pleading
for the widows “indeed”.
You can fill it online
from the Support page
or print it out, fill
it and return to:

CHAPLAINCY MINISTRY
WE
CARE FOR THE LARGER
SOCIETY IN LOVE
You are WELCOME to
the chaplaincy department
of The Faith Builders
Ministries. As the
2nd Commandant-General
of Chaplains Fellowship
of Nigeria Inc, Northeast
Zonal Command, Chaplain
Rev. Festus Ekenyere,
in addition to the
burden of The Faith
Builders commands
the Northeast Zone
of CFN. This zone
is made up of six
Northeastern States
of Nigeria, i.e. Adamawa,
Borno, Yola, Bauchi,
Gombe and Jalingo
States.
Presently our Zonal
Headquarters Office
is in Maiduguri, Borno
State. From there
we reach out to the
other five states.
We have representation
in all the states.
The Zonal Command
was established after
the inauguration of
Maiduguri Command
in 2005. Prior to
that time there was
no chaplain body in
the Northeast sub-region
of Nigeria. Chaplain
Rev. Festus Ekenyere,
the present Zonal
Commandant and CFN
2nd Commandant-General
introduced chaplaincy
in the sub-region.
After the inauguration
of Maiduguri Command,
we made efforts to
reach out to other
states. We are still
working hard to see
that the vision of
chaplaincy is well
understood by the
body of Christ. We
are non-governmental,
non-political, non-profit
making Christian organization
propelled by the love
and compassion of
Jesus Christ.
OUR VISION
AND MISSION
Burdened with the
ministry of the Good
Samaritan, we are
poised to –
1. Promote peaceful
co-existence among
the citizenry.
2. Reach out to the
less privileged in
our society –
i) the motherless
babies
ii) the sick and afflicted
in hospitals
iii) the prisoners
and remind homes
iv) the victims of
HIV/AIDS
v) the widows and
orphans
vi) the victims of
natural and man-made
disasters, etc.
3. Be actively involved
in voluntary communal
self-help projects.
4. Show forth the
love and compassion
of Jesus Christ through
physical and spiritual
assistance to the
needy.
So far in Borno State,
we have successfully
gone on advocacy visit
to the Borno State
Action Committee on
Aids (BOSACA) where
we submitted a proposal
of CFN Intervention
on HIV/AIDS Programs
in Borno State Nigeria.
Though hitherto no
action has been taken
on our proposal, we
are trusting God for
the finances to implement
everything we proposed.
If
you can help in any
way please contact
us today or
CLICK
HERE to
go through our proposals.
We have also in pursuant
of our vision, visited
the Babies Home in
Maiduguri, where we
showed care and concern
to the motherless
children born into
this lovely world.
We have been with
the patients in the
VVF and Surgical words
of the State Specialists
Hospital, where we
gave out both cash
and material gifts
to the patients. We
have been to the prisons
where incollaboration
with CFN, donated
sewing machines and
materials worth hundreds
of thousands of naira.
Our vision is to help
make our prision yards
centers of skill acquisition
and learning. We believe
by God's grace we
will fulfill our vision.
